I've been a printmaster user for a couple of years now. The last version I bought was 17. The new print master has everything I need to handle any kind of project. One of the things I like about this new one is that all of the templates and clip art are on disc and I don't need to download anything. I know that seems like a small thing but it makes it so much faster. If my internet is down or really slow I don't have to worry about whether I can get the clip art I am used to.

This new version is definitely different than the last one, but I like it. It feels like printmaster is much more like a new piece of software. It has all of the things the new Microsoft products have - like you can drag photos and clip art into your project, there's an eyedropper tool. Plus it's really easy to find the tools - when I click on a photo, all of the photo tools come up automatically. You can always find what you're looking for.

So if you are on the fence I would say give it a shot. It may not have all of the tools you've had with previous versions, but it's got just about everything I used in the past.

The ULTIMATE PrintMaster!!! May 20, 2010

If you are looking for the ultimate print program then look no further than Printmaster Platinum 2.0. This print program has everything you need from business cards, a variety of labels and letterheads to puzzles, banners and doorknob hangers and that's not even half of it. Like many previous versions of this program it comes with the wonderful option to import your own photos and clip art into your projects. There are also many other new features such as One-Click Photo Editor, Slider Tool for Fun Effects, and the extremely useful Color Match Technology.

Printmaster Platinum 2.0 is for both PC and MAC and is on a total of 3 DVD's so this program is truly huge! When fully installed on my PC it was over 15 Gigabytes (GB) in size and because of this there are a lot of load screens when opening the program and switching in-between certain projects. This doesn't really take away from the program too much though and if you enjoy making your own cards, scrap-booking or just want to add a creative option to your everyday printing projects then in my opinion this is the best program to use.

Comprehensive Print Project Program August 14, 2010

PrintMaster Platiumn is a complete project solution. Normally, I'm not a fan of printable project managers, but PrintMaster is fun, easy to use and has an extremely large library of artwork to use in projects. This software is compatible with both Mac and PC and everything you need is included in the box. No downloading (except for updates) is needed. That being said, make sure you have a large hard drive because a full installation is 32GB. When I installed the program DVD, it took over 40 minutes to unzip the base program templates. Two other Art DVDs are included (installtion is optional), and they provide a huge selection artwork to choose from. The program design is simple and functional. A guide is included, but the interface is intuitive and easy to use. PrintMaster Platinum 2.0 includes a photo editor, integrated professional printing options for output, text-to-shape designs, a fun slider tool for text effects, thumbnail previews of multipage projects, has a great drag and drop design interface, lots of ready made templates (or easily create your own) and as mentioned before, a huge selection of images, graphics and fonts. I found this program easier to use than Corel's printing software that is part of its intermediate photo package. A downside is this version is not compatible if you have a prior version of the software. Projects you can create include banners, bookmarks, brochures, business cards, calendars, certificates, envelopes, family trees, gift tags, greeting cards, invitations, labels, letterheads, newsletters, puzzles, scrapbook pages, signs, stickers and much more. You can truly create a wide variety of projects at home using your own creativity instead of paying for expensive store bought cards and other items. PrintMaster does include QuickTime and has its own photo editor. Printing projects is a breeze and the program has extensive help features to assist you. I really like the fact that PrintMaster included everything in one box. Although their website offers more artwork online, you really get a lot included in the package and a full User Manual (not just a quick start guide) to help. As mentioned before, it is a space hog if you want to intall all of the two DVDs of artwork. It is worth it if you would like to create and share a great many fun projects with family and friends with a minimum of fuss. I highly recommend PrintMaster Platinum 2.0, it is a lot of fun to use.

This is the first print software I've ever purchased since I usually buy my greeting cards and calendars at the store. I was really surprised to see how easy to use this program is. There's a nice variety of designs so all I have to do is add my own photos and write whatever I want.

This PrintMaster Platinum 2.0 software ---allows you to make up pretty much anything !

It offers so many programs for making about any paper good that you may need--cards , invites ,thank you notes , special occasion cards , signs..and so much more.

I tried this program with business cards....greeting cards ...............

I found this program very,very easy to use....photos were easy to load and the printing as well.

Excellent for both beginners and advanced users....very easy to use.

I recommend this to all of you kids , teens , adults of any leveel.
